HOW TO GET TO ABU KETAMBE

 

FROM MEDAN :

 

Travelling to Sumatra, most people arrive by airplane in MEDAN. The new Airport Kuala Namu MEDAN is situated about 35 km Northeast of the city. The easiest way to get to Ketambe from Medan is by airplane via Kutacane. There are two flights between Kutacane and Medan at the moment : 3 times weekend  susi air company, at monday, at wednesday, at saturday. This can change by short notice. From Kutacane its a 30 km ride by public or private transport to Ketambe, then also from ketambe to banda aceh difference schedule which I can arrange for you.

 

Another option is to use an aircon car (public taxi) with a driver and comfortable seats from MEDAN all the way to KETAMBE, where up to 7 passengers will share the car. Depending the time of the day this will take around 8 hours. We recommend offfer a public shared taxi service:  Youngky Travel and Transport. Then also you can found 2 kinds of  minibus transport to kota cane , you took Karsima company or BTN company.
